Maire Johnston-Copeland - Assistant Landscape Architect

Maire Johnston-Copeland

Maire is a plant lover, who enjoys being in the outdoors and appreciating landscapes of all kinds (especially within Yorkshire!).

Maire is currently completing her year-out in practice at Urban Wilderness after recently finishing her undergraduate course at Leeds Beckett University.

Maire is particularly interested in restoring biodiversity, improving people’s quality of life, and reducing the risk of environmental challenges through regeneration and the implementation of blue and green infrastructure. Her final year project focused on the positive impacts that the implementation of rain gardens have on climate change and other environmental challenges in cities.
